Associate Security Assessor

Job Description

The Associate Security Assessor delivers high-quality security consulting services to RSI Security customers by applying technical expertise, communication skills, and product/process knowledge. Responsibilities include providing support for assessor, analyst, and associate tasks, supporting PS team processes and artifacts, testing, deploying, and managing security tools and services, researching IT security trends, operating security portals, researching new security tools, and creating routine cybersecurity status monitoring reports.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in technical support, AV, and patch management
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Cybersecurity.
  • CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, GPEN, ECSA certifications.
  • Expert knowledge of Google Suite (Drive, Docs, Sheets, Forms) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Empathetic, enthusiastic, and effective communicator with strong rapport-building skills.
  • Ability to take ownership of the overall company strategic plan and implement it across departments.
  • High degree of flexibility with the ability to work in a small, fast-paced environment.
  • Thorough and detail-oriented, organized, with excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to quickly learn, understand, and evaluate current and new tools.
  • Self-starter who can work independently with a proactive attitude.
